WATERPROOFING

Alfa Waterproofing and Painting Contractors specialises in all the different kinds of waterproofing applications, and with more than a decade’s experience in the waterproofing field we are certain to provide you with the best advice possible.

We have applied Polyurethane Liquid Rubbers to numerous IBR, Corrugated and tiled roofs with great success. For flat roof slabs we almost always recommend a Torchon system. 4mm Torchon is also recommended for retaining walls and planter boxes, for any smooth surface area we would recommend the Torchon system.

Large patio areas require a flexible product, a waterproofing product that will withstand expansion and contraction. Cementitious waterproofing tends to crack on large surface areas especially during fluctuating temperatures. Therefore we would recommend Polyurethane Liquid Rubber combined with a fiber glass reemat.

Cementitious waterproofing combined with a polyfelt membrane will typically be used for waterproofing of smaller areas, like a shower or planter box.

If it is exceptional service and the highest standard of workmanship you are looking for, make use of us. Guaranteed.

Blue Smoke

Cementitious Waterproofing

Cementitious waterproofing coatings are breathable, seamless coatings used to provide positive and negative side waterproofing protection on concrete and masonry surfaces. They prevent damage from water infiltration and resist mold and mildew.

Liquid Rubber & Fiber Glass

Liquid Rubber can be applied vertically and horizontally - around all roof penetrations and rooftop deck utilities. This will restore a leaking and deteriorated roof back to life without removing the old membrane - saving costs and time.

Roof Sheeting Waterproofing

Roof Waterproofing Sheet considerably lowers down the risks of serious threats that water leaks could produce.

Tile Waterproofing

Waterproofing is carried out under the roof tiles by using special sealing membranes. Beyond effective waterproofing, these membranes should have the following properties: They must be vapor-permeable, to avoid condensation of water vapour, which leads to damage (distortion, rotting, etc.)

Torch-on Waterproofing

Torch-On Waterproofing is a polymer bitumen waterproof membrane. This system is applied with LPG (low-pressure gas) Torch. The membrane is heat-fused onto a surface that has had a priming application applied to it.
